洛杉矶的气候类型是地中海式气候，全年的气候可以说是比较温和，但是空气比较干燥，主要原因是没有太多的降雨，洛杉矶的降雨季节一般是在冬季的时候，这个时候有着比较多的降雨，可以缓和一下常年的干燥气候，但是从另一方面讲，地中海式的气候让洛杉矶非常适合旅游，夏季没有过高的温度，冬季的时候也没有极地般的寒冷，而且四季分明，景点多样，让游客有更多的选择。
