这个不是致敬科比的，而是致敬非洲领导人曼德拉的。曼德拉是非洲反种族歧视和爱好和平的一位伟大领导人。当时黄家驹带着乐队在非洲慰问演出时了解了当地的情况，很是敬佩曼德拉，回到香港后创作了这首脍炙人口的歌曲。所以光辉岁月是致敬曼德拉的而不是科比。
